CornerStone Sunday Nov. 23rd

Greetings in the name of Jesus!

It has been awhile since my last email conversations with you. There is a chill in the air now, the leaves have turned from green to various shades of reds, oranges and yellows and now have fallen to the ground signaling a new season. So with more time indoors, I will try to resume emailing from the rolling hills and valleys of southern Indiana about our wonderful Cornerstone church.

A Season of Thanksgiving

I have been looking at the roof on my house and it needs to be replaced, my car growls at me every time I start it, long over due for a thorough tune up... but the bank account is very clear, the fixes will have to wait. However all things considered, we are blessed. The roof may need replaced, but we have a roof, there isn’t any steak in the refrigerator, but there is food. We are grateful for what God has provided in this season of thanksgiving.
Despite our current economic conditions in the good O’ USA, there is much to be thankful for in our land of liberty and freedom. We still live in a great country, and most of all God loves you.

Sunday at Cornerstone began with rays of sunshine revealing a frosty morning. At 9:30am the Sunday school hour was filled teachers and students sharing in God’s good Word. A large crowd was in attendance for Sunday service and after a Spirit filled time of praise and worship to our great God on high, Sis. Anna Goodman and the Kids Power Hour put on a play. At the last minute I was offered the opportunity to join the kids and play a pirate, ARRH mates, God is indeed good. And once again, we had the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus as Pastor Rodney preached the Word of God.

Wishing you God's blessings on this coming Thanksgiving Day with turkey & dressing, cranberries and pumpkin pie. Pray that you have a nice Thanksgiving Day this week with friends and family.

Be well, do good work and may God bless you.
